Kralendijk, Bonaire (December 20, 2004) - The votes are in and Bonaire has once again swept the Scuba Diving magazineís 2005 Readersí Choice Awards!
In the 2005 Awards Bonaire received the #1 rating in six Caribbean/Atlantic categories including, for the third year in a row, Top Caribbean Dive Destination (95.4%). Bonaire was also rated #1 for Shore Diving (96.9%), Beginner Diving (96.8%), Underwater Photography (95.4%), Top Marine Life (94.2%) and Snorkeling (84.7%). Additionally the destination placed in the top three in the Top Value and Top Small Animals categories and in the top five in the Healthiest Marine Environment and Top Visibility categories.
For the Readerís Choice awards thousands of Scuba Diving subscribers and web users rated their dive experiences on a scale of one to five. Final scores represent the percentage of fours and five awarded. Results of the 2005 Awards are featured in the January/February 2005 issue of Scuba Diving magazine.
